Jet Blast & Rotors
Jet Blast & Rotors has been nearly a year in the making, with early design work beginning in December 2024. The goal from day one was simple: create something anyone can wear if they love the H-60 — pilots, aircrew, maintainers, rescue swimmers, or anyone drawn to the aircraft and the world around it.
Finding the Right Perspective
Every great design starts with a choice. For Jet Blast & Rotors, that choice was the overhead perspective.
The overhead view has always been the one. Clean. Instantly recognizable. Perfectly balanced for the back of a hoodie. Additionally... it hides the placement of the tailwheel.
The first version began as a technical blueprint. Accurate. Familiar. Impressive on paper.
But accuracy alone wasn’t enough.

Turning the Aircraft Into Art
The breakthrough came from shifting the approach. The inspiration didn't come from a manual — it was the raw, pencil-sketch artwork found inside the H-65 hat liner. Imperfect. Emotional. Full of character.

That’s when the direction changed: turn the 60 into art.
Stencil-style designs followed. Several iterations later, the aircraft finally felt alive — raw, bold, and unapologetic. Still, something was missing. It needed structure. Context. A foundation.
The Details That Made It Click
People had always connected with the pilot sectional chart hidden inside the H-60 hat, so it became the next layer. At first, it was too much — full color, overwhelming, noisy.

Stripped down to its pure lines and shapes, everything clicked.
Suddenly the back of the hoodie felt complete.
Purposeful. Balanced. Finished.
Built for Everyone Who Gets It
This hoodie isn’t for one group of people. It’s for anyone who feels at home around the 60 — whether you fly it, fix it, jump out of it, or simply respect what it represents.
You don’t need to be military to wear it.
If you connect with the mission, the environment, or the artwork, it’s for you.
BEWARE OF JET BLAST AND ROTORS
It’s a phrase that instantly transports you to the flight line — noise, power, danger, purpose. The exact wording. The exact font. Placed across the left sleeve.
To push it further, the warning is 3D-printed into the sleeve. On a heavyweight garment, it becomes tactile and aggressive — something you don’t just see, but feel.

The Front: Simple, Strong, Intentional
The front left chest originally held a different concept, now reserved for a future release. In its place: oversized screen-printed numbers.
Numbers speak their own language. Clean. Bold. Strong. After sorting through hundreds of typefaces, the right one finally stood out — confident without trying too hard.
No Shortcuts
Over months of development, multiple one-off samples were created. Different print techniques. Different constructions. Different ideas pushed to the limit.
What made the final version wasn’t convenience or cost — it was what earned its place.
Why
At the core of Jet Blast & Rotors is originality.
Not trends. Not shortcuts. Not copies.
Just something built to stand apart. One of a kind.
Creativity takes time. Sometimes a lot of time.
In this case, it took a full year.
Thanks everyone for all the support! Pre-Order closes Saturday Dec 13th.
